SUBJECT: Defiance with The Last Dance, 18+, Friday, Feb. 17th.
$7/door, $5 advance. Doors open at 9:30pm. Band at 11:00pm.
On Friday, February 17th, the Cult of Defiance proudly plays
host to LA gothic/ industrial superstars, The Last Dance
(www.TheLastDance.com). Being one of a very select group of great,
live acts in the scene, The Last Dance are sure to captivate you
with a very powerful show. The TLD trouble will start at 11:00pm, so
show up early. Don't forget we are 18+ this month!
TICKET INFORMATION: Advance tickets can be purchased a variety of
ways.
In Santa Cruz: You can purchase tickets at Streetlight Records for
$5.
In San Jose: At Factory 55 on Wednesdays from DJ Neshamah.
In San Francisco: Quite a few of us are going to the TKK show at
the DNA Lounge on February 12th. Just find Dante and ask.
For those who live farther away, you can purchase an admit one (aka

What other madness will the Cult of Defiance be bringing you this
month?
As per usual, the Black Cat Lounge will be proudly hosted by that
man for whom the Undead bell tolls, Señor Meester. Plan on rotations
of various Defiance djs through the BCL, and come prepared for a full
dose of all that is unholy in the realm of dark lounge, 60s,
psychobilly, new/darkwave and more, administered by the wicked hands
of the Meester.
In the front, we will have the most well-rounded DJ this side of
the
Mississippi, Neshamah, and the German assassin, Tristan von
Wasserspeier, plus other Defiance djs rotating powerful and
*very* danceable new wave, 80s, and more.
In the back, we will have the spectre of evil himself, Narce
Talksin; the Terrorist from Birmingham, Tristan von Wasserspeier; the
Archbishop of Malta and Sunny Elba, Ðante; and the Lord of All Dark
Electronic, PhreakiBoi, playing those gothic-rock, industrial-dance,
darkwave, and psytrance classics you love, along with a heaping
portion of new releases. Come fully prepared for two sets by Narce
due to popular demand, some new releases by Dante, and hard-hitting
industrial-dance and dark electronic by PhreakiBoi and Tristan.
Also, Defiance will be very proud to welcome back future newlyweds,
Cassie Edgell and Mike Cheddar from their honeymoon. They are
long-time Defiance supporters and are actually coming back early from
their trip *just* for our event! That's some love.
